A New Look Is Pulling Into Core Tickets!

Beginning Monday, October 19, 2026, Core Transit will begin rolling out an updated version of the Core Tickets mobile app, bringing riders a cleaner, more modern experience designed to make purchasing and managing tickets simpler from the moment they open the app.

What’s Changing?
With simpler navigation, updated Core Transit branding, and frequently used features easier to find, he refreshed Core Tickets app makes managing your fares more convenient.

Wallet front and center: Your wallet is now featured on the main screen, making it easier to access and manage active tickets and passes.
Favorites:  Save up to three eligible tickets for quicker access to the fares you use most.

The update will roll out gradually over seven days to Apple and Android users, so not everyone will see the new look at the same time. If automatic app updates are enabled, Core Tickets will update once the new version becomes available for your device. If automatic updates are turned off, you will need to visit your device’s app store and manually update Core Tickets.

So, if your Core Tickets app still has the familiar look while someone else is already seeing the new version, there’s no need to worry, the new look is on its way.

While the Core Tickets app will look different, your account, active tickets, and passes will remain in place, there’s no need to create a new account or repurchase existing fares. Some riders may be asked to sign back in after the updating, so be sure you know the email address and password associated with your account.
Think of it as the Core Tickets you already know, just easier to navigate, easier to use, and refreshed for the ride ahead.

Built for the Ride Ahead
The refreshed Core Tickets app is another step in Core Transit’s commitment to creating a welcoming, accessible, dependable, and rewarding, rider experience. With a stronger digital foundation, the app can continue to grow with the needs of our riders while creating a more consistent Core Transit experience across the digital tools our community uses to plan, pay for, and take their trips.

Same account. Same tickets. A fresh Core Transit look—ready for the ride ahead.
