Statement Regarding Traffic Collision on Friday, April 24.
At approximately 10:44 a.m. on Friday, April 24, a Core Transit bus operated by SP+, our third-party transit service provider, was involved in a traffic collision on I-70 near Mile Marker 163.
There were no passengers on board the vehicle at the time of the incident, and we are thankful to report that no injuries were sustained.
The safety and well-being of our riders, employees, contractors, and everyone in the communities we serve is always our highest priority.
We are grateful for the prompt response of emergency personnel and local authorities who assisted at the scene.
The incident is currently under review by the appropriate agencies. We are cooperating fully with investigators in working to determine the exact sequence of events and will continue to coordinate with responding officials as the review progresses.
While incidents of this nature are uncommon, we approach every day of service with a strong commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. We remain focused on providing safe, rewarding, and reliable transportation that our community can count on.
